We listen, act, and transform
About Jennifer
Hi, I’m Jennifer! I’m a registered and licensed dietitian with over 17 years of experience helping people build a healthier relationship with food and their bodies. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee and my master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from East Tennessee State University.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working one-on-one with individuals from all walks of life—supporting them in discovering how nutrition can truly enhance their health, energy, and confidence.

My Approach to Care
My philosophy is built on three key pillars: kindness, education, and realism.
Kindness: My first priority is to make you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. I want you to know that I’m on your side and that we’re in this together. Lasting change begins with compassion—for yourself and for the process.
Education: Nutrition can feel confusing and overwhelming, especially with all the mixed messages out there. I love helping you make sense of it all—understanding how food works in your body and how to use that knowledge to support your unique goals. One of my favorite parts of this work is seeing a client’s face light up when something finally “clicks.”
Realism: Real, sustainable change happens when we set small, realistic goals that fit your life, your schedule, your family, and your preferences. Together, we’ll break free from perfectionism and unrealistic expectations and focus instead on progress, flexibility, and what truly works for you.

Your First Session
I know it takes courage to make that first appointment, and I truly admire you for taking that step. During our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you—what your daily life looks like, your health concerns and goals, your nutrition and medical history, and what you hope to gain from working with a dietitian. From there, we’ll create a personalized, realistic plan designed to support your goals and help you feel your best.

Fees & Insurance
Did you know that many insurance plans cover nutrition counseling at no cost to you? Many clients are pleasantly surprised to learn that their visits are fully covered!
I currently accept BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS), UnitedHealthcare (UHC), Aetna, and Cigna.
For those without insurance coverage or who prefer to pay out of pocket, the self-pay rate is $75 per visit.
